Flattening The Curve：It’s how you touch, not who
有一陣子，在拍攝電影的空檔，
我以創作拼貼畫打發時間。
一度，我以為拼貼
是我對顏色、空間、結構和剪輯的「個人研究」，
但拼貼過程讓我體會到這想法太自以為是。
現在，拼貼反而是我的「蔭庇」——
一個不管我是否在拍戲都愛去的地方，
一個讓我漫步、作愛、聊天和作夢的地方。
There was a time that collage filled the gap between the trying for,
and the realization of, some of my films.
I used to pretend collage was some kind of ‘personal research’
on colour, field, structure, and editing, but that was a conceit.
The process has taught me otherwise.
Collage is my ‘sanctuary’ now —
a place I love to visit every shooting or non-shooting day.
A place to wander in, to make love, to talk , to revere.
